Advocacy
Solidarity Network
When an experiencer or an allied researcher is attacked for speaking, they should not stand alone. The Solidarity Network is a group of people ready to offer a coordinated, public show of support at short notice. Movements that protect their own give more people the safety to step forward.
How it works
Built to be quick when it counts, and careful enough to stay trustworthy.
- People ready to respondMembers and allies join a list and tell us how they can help, whether that is amplifying a message, offering professional or legal skills, or showing up in person.
- A request comes inSomeone who is being attacked, or an ally acting on their behalf, asks for support and tells us what is happening.
- A person verifies itWe review every request and speak with the people involved before anything public happens. Nothing is automatic, and we will not act without consent.
- A coordinated response goes outWhen it is warranted, we call on responders for a focused, respectful show of support: setting the record straight, standing with the person, and refusing to let intimidation work.

Request support
If you or someone you stand with is being attacked for speaking, tell us. A person will read this and respond. Nothing public happens until we have spoken with you.
